“Altered mood, irritability, depression or euphoria, fatigue, craving for certain food, stiff muscles (especially in the neck), constipation or diarrhea, and sensitivity to smells or noise. This may occur in those with either migraine with aura or migraine without aura.” Once the pain kicks in: nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light, a sense of the world spinning, light-headedness, and confusion, blurred vision, nasal stuffiness, frequent urination, pallor, or sweating, swelling or tenderness of the scalp.” – Wikipedia, Migraine
The cure: DRUGS, a light-proof room, DRUGS, a sound-proof room, DRUGS, a whole lot of leave-me-the-fuck-alone, DRUGS, stuff to throw at people who won’t leave-you-the-fuck-alone, oh, and did I mention… DRUGS.
“LIFE IS A HIGHWAY, I WANT TO RIDE IT, ALL NIGHT LONG!”- Tom Cochrane
“The phoenix hope, can wing her way through the desert skies, and still defying fortune’s spite; revive from ashes and rise.”- Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, 1547-1616
Everything on the earth bristled, the bramble
pricked and the green thread
nibbled away, the petal fell, falling
until the only flower was the falling itself.
Water is another matter,
has no direction but its own bright grace,
runs through all imaginable colors,
takes limpid lessons
and in those functionings plays out
the unrealized ambitions of the foam-
Pablo Neruda, 1904-1973
My computer stopped working so I complained to my IT guy. His reply, and I quote: “I told you the only way to fix it is to throw the piece of shit in the trash.” This is what happens when you cease to pay someone in currency. They lose all respect for you and the attachments in your life. I wonder what he would think if I had the garbage-men pick up his motorcycle the next time it needs the oil changed?
